Process = Progress
Without a process in place, designing a website can often take too long and become too complicated. Here's our plan for success
1. We listen: We are very good at listening. You know your business and at our first meeting we want you to tell us all about your company, your customers, the potential new clients you want to reach, your goals, your ambitions and your ideas. And while we’re listening, our minds will already be whirring with ideas and you’ll be caught up in our enthusiasm for the project.
2. Research: Once we have taken your brief, we will appoint a ‘brand guardian’ who will be your point of contact, while the creative team get to work researching your market, study rival websites and investigate your sector of business before undertaking the web design stage.
3. Web development: Armed with your brief and our research material we will begin the process of building wire frame diagrams – the building blocks of your site. Each customer’s site is a bespoke piece of work – we don’t use templates.
4. Design: Once the foundations of your site are in place, we will begin creating the look and feel of your site.
5. Client review: Once you are happy with the look of the pages we will import your words – or we will commission our team of copywriters to write and edit the wording for you.
6. Search Engine Optimisation: As part of our research, the SEO team will compile key words and phrases that will help raise your search engine ranking. They will also be using their marketing skills to maximise your site’s hit rate and the all-important conversion rate.
7. Training: Once the site has been approved and before going live we will train you and your staff how to use the site.
8. Lift off: When you and your staff are completely happy with the site it’s time to go live. We will advise you on web marketing to boost traffic to the site.
